Positions for which we may have openings include:

RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, over the counter sales, computer operation, financial transactions, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

An RVT is a person who has graduated from a certified veterinary technology program and passed the national and state board tests.  Technicians work closely with and assist the doctors.  All diagnostics such as: laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment.  Other dutues include inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, and rehabilitation.  RVT'S are also responsible for anesthetic protocols and  surgical preparation as well as assisting in the operating room. Technicians also perform all dental cleanings.

VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT

 The assistant is responsible for animal care of boarding guests. This would include check- in and discharge of boarders.  Animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, and feeding are daily tasks performed. The assistant is also available to help in restraint or procedure to any patient in our facility.  The assistants are also capable of taking and recording vitals to patients and running select laboratory procedures.
