Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care we can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide these services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  We run our own in house laboratory to perform bloodwork analysis, fecals, cytology, and urinalysis while you wait.  We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We not only perform numerous soft tissue surgeries but also cater to those that require orthopedic surgery as well. Surgical monitoring is always followed during any procedure with the use of heart monitors and blood pressure machines.

   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.  Pain control and comfort is also one of our highest priorities during surgery, as well as while your pet is recovering with us. Anesthesia can always pose risk, but we take all precautions necessary to keep your pet safe while in our care.
    
Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and major/minor oral surgery. We also carry several products
to help maintain the health of your pets teeth.  We are always available for consultation and to help put you on the right track for good oral care.

Permanent identification: We offer microchiping and will help you get registered.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets as well as regular maintainance formulas..

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. For those who require a specialized diet regimen we will help councel you and monitor weight loss to keep your pets in a healthy body condition.

    

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.  Reading materials are also available upon request.

Acupuncture:  Dr. Michelle Rhodes is certified in the service of providing acupuncture to those pets who suffer chronic pain, acute pain, behavioral problems as well as many other illnesses.  She is available for consultation and will set up the appropriate therapy needed for you and your companion.

Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.  Pets are walked three times daily, with plenty of pampering. We have a seperate cat room and dog room as well as isolation facility for those who may be too sick to be in the boarding community. Our cat ward has single and double suites available and our dog ward has small, medium and large kennels as well as the dog runs.  We do require bordetella for all overnight guests. We also offer exit baths at special rates.

Grooming:  Our groomers are highly trained, very caring individuals. Our goal is to have your precious pets looking there best for all occasions.  Prices are individual and appointments are required.  This is a full service salon with reasonable rates. We offer medicated bathing, brushouts, and trimming. A full line of accessories are available for those pampered pets including rhinestone earrings and nail jewelery, bandanas, bows, nail painting and nail filing.  We also cater to your feline family members.  For those that may not enjoy there bathing experience we can offer mild sedation for there comfort and safety. We do require bordetella for all our grooming clients.
